Action Plan

What landowners and residents can do to demand accountability in Tay Valley Township

Your Voice Matters

Council often does not respond to critical emails. If you don't receive a response, follow up with a phone call. Ask why TVT Council disregards recommendations of the Ontario Ombudsman.

Step 1: Contact Your Council

Contact your elected representatives and demand accountability. Key questions to ask:

  • Why does TVT Council disregard recommendations of the Office of the Ontario Ombudsman?

  • Why does a letter directly from the Office of the Ombudsman barely merit discussion?

  • Why have administrative staff salaries increased 66% while services remain the same?

  • Why was Council provided false information about Pay Equity requirements?
